Tiffany Haddish Got Blocked From The 2023 Oscars Probably For Supporting Will Smith After Slapping Chris Rock

Tiffany Haddish Got Blocked From The 2023 Oscars Probably Because She Supported Will Smith For Slapping Chris Rock

Apart from Tiffany Haddish celebrating the Oscars after-party at Elton Johns’, she was not invited to the main event due to some ambiguous reasons.

Reports say the funny black actress openly supported Will Smith after he assaulted Chris Rock live on stage at the 2022 Oscars, and as Will Smith was suspended, Tiffany is being punished for siding with him.

So for Tiffany’s punishment, she was not invited to this year’s Oscars either. The Oscars may have punished Tiffany a bit too much. I mean, she just supported Will; she didn’t take part in the action.

Via Media Take Out;

Did you miss actress Tiffany Haddish on the red carpet at the Oscars. Well you didn’t because she wasn’t there.

Media Take Out confirmed that Tiffany was NOT invited to this years Oscars, despite being one of the biggest African American actresses in the world.

It’s not clear exactly what Tiffany did to get her Oscar card revoked, but we spoke with a person close to the actress who was upset with their decision to not invite her.

The friend explained, “Tiffany was at the Oscars last year, and she showed support for Will [Smith]. I think they’re trying to black ball her or something.”

But the Oscar snub didn’t get Tiffany down. She still celebrated the Oscars at Elton John’s Oscar viewing party, less than mile away. And she looked stunning.

She also attended the Vanity Fair Oscar after-party, where she looked amazing.

Tiffany is an American stand-up comedian and actress. After guest-starring on several television series and lead role on a cable drama, Haddish gained prominence for her role as Nekeisha Williams on the NBC sitcom The Carmichael Show (2015–2017). Her breakthrough came in with a leading role in the comedy film Girls Trip (2017), which earned her several accolades—such as nominations for two Critics’ Choice Awards—and was included on The New Yorker’s list of the best film performances of the 21st century. She won a Primetime Emmy Award for hosting a Saturday Night Live episode (2017) and published a memoir, The Last Black Unicorn (2017).

Haddish starred in the TBS series The Last O.G. (2018–2020), executive produced and voiced Tuca in the Netflix/Adult Swim animated series Tuca & Bertie (2019–2022), and starred in the crime comedy series The Afterparty (2022–present). She released the album Black Mitzvah in 2019, for which she won the Grammy Award for Best Comedy Album, making her the second African-American woman to win this prize after Whoopi Goldberg in 1986.

She was named one of the 100 most influential people in the world by Time magazine in 2018, and The Hollywood Reporter listed her among the 100 most powerful people in entertainment in both 2018 and 2019.

Did the Oscars overreact? Yes! I mean, Tiffany is the least harmful person among all the people they invited. Y’all better invite her next year!
