The use of keys in turning on and off car ignition may become a thing of the past as Kantanka is working on a fingerprint ignition for its cars.
In a tweet that was shared by Kwadwo Safo Jnr. on his Twitter handle, they are working on a fingerprint Start and Stop system to be used by their cars.
This new technology would be officially unveiled at this year’s Tech Expo in December where geniuses from all walks of life display their inventions.
“Things to watch out for at the 40th Tech expo in December. Fingerprint START and STOP ignition”, he wrote.
The instructor said the keys would be available anyway but that would only be used to unlock the cars. That is not all, the new development has a special feature in which the car would not function if the passengers do not wear their seat belts.
