The Father of a slain police officer, General Constable Emmanuel Osei, has spoken and he believes that his son’s memory can best be honoured if his death serves an end to the killing of police officers in their line of duty.
According to Peter Attah, police officers in the country lack the necessary equipment to protect themselves and others thus they fall victim to threat when it erupts.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with Citi News, Peter Attah said;
“My son is dead; I will not say I’m counting on him, but from my own observation, the security service is always left ajar; so they should be protected so that they can work well and protect us”, he said.
General Constable Emmanuel Osei was shot dead by armed robbers on Monday when he was on escort duty in a Bullion van.
