Bribery, corruption and extortion have rocked the upcoming National Gospel Music Awards as one musician, Carl Clottey has accused organizers of the awards of engaging in corrupt activities.

This is shocking because we never expected a gospel music awards scheme to be rocked with corrupt activities. According to Carl, organizers of the Ghana National Gospel Music Awards have destroyed the scheme with bribery, corruption and extortion.

Carl Clottey who bagged 5 nominations claims that some insiders have whispered into his ears that he will walk home with nothing on the night if he doesn’t do the “needful”. What’s the “needful”?

These allegations were made on live radio and the organizer of the National Gospel Music Awards, Peter Kwabena Dwobeng Sergio, didn’t treat it lightly as he pushed Carl Clottey to back his claims with evidence.

The 2021  Ghana National Gospel Music Award (NGMA) will happen at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC) on August 28, 2021.
