Arnold Asamoah says Sarkodie fits more for VGMA21 Artiste of the Year than Kuami Eugene.
Renowned entertainment writer/pundit, Arnold Asamoah-Baidoo has said that even though every nominee was a potential winner because they all had a hit song, what separated them was the audience appeal, and based on what Sarkodie did in 2019, he is the one fit for the artiste of the year award.
Charterhouse has nailed it to the minds of people that the award is based on the nominee’s vote but he revealed that it’s not solely based on votes but in the real sense, 40% goes to the public, 30% goes to the academy, and 30% to the board so people should shut up and stop arguing based on votes.
He said you could easily win with the two blocks of the voting pattern; the academy and the board which is 60% and you might not necessarily need the public votes.
“Did you vote? should not apply as an excuse as to why somebody should win” he said.
In his opinion, Sarkodie is the one fit for the VGMA Artiste of the year crown.
He said this in an interview on Okay FM’s ‘Best Entertainment’ program with host, Halifax Ansah-Addo.
