Tory Lanez‘s attorney George Mgdesyan rested his case yesterday and it was an interesting argument. George Mgdesyan in a hilarious closing argument referenced Tory’s height saying, he just is 5-foot-2 hence he can’t shoot Megan Thee Stallion from the window of a Cadillac Escalade. He is too short to have pulled the trigger.
What Mgdesyan does not know is the short man is capable of the worst. Tory refused to take the stand in the trial hence both parties were ready to rest their case.
Megan on the other hand took the stand earlier last week and did terribly with her version of the incident that happened on April 4th, 2020. Making the short man seem to be in the lead for the victory.
Via Media Take Out;
Tory Lanez’s lawyer said in court that he is not tall enough to shoot Megan Thee Stallion.
Lanez stands at just 5-foot-2, and his defense attorney, George Mgdesyan, claimed he is too short to have shot Megan from out of a window of a Cadillac Escalade during the alleged July 2020 incident.
“There was a light moment for Tory Lanez today during his lawyer’s closing,” reporter Meghann Cuniff tweeted. “Mgdesyan referenced his height, saying he’s ‘what, 5-foot-2’ and ‘I don’t even know if he can get over the door to shoot.’”
Earlier this week, Lanez declined to testify in his shooting trial.
“Tory Lanez will not take the stand. Both sides have rested and the jury was given instructions this morning,” and LA Times reporter tweeted from the courtroom. “Closing arguments will begin this afternoon at 130pm.”
He added: “Jaquan Smith, Tory’s driver, was present and on defense witness list but prosecutors asked for a continuance past the Christmas break if he was to testify, per defense attorney George Mgdesyan. At his clients request not to delay proceedings, Mgdesyan declined to call him.”
Interestingly, Megan and her attorney are not backing down. They are preparing to file a wrongful shooting case against Tory because they admit they did terribly at the ongoing trial and hence deserve to try again.
