Controversial chief priest cum fake woman of God, Patricia Asiedu aka Nana Agradaa has been fined by the court after she pleaded guilty for her illegal activities on her television channel.
Nana Agradaa who claimed to have repented after her TV stations were shut down for operating without proper licensing will spend 5 years in prison if she fails to pay the Ghc36,000 fine.
In her earlier trial, Nana Agradaa pleaded not guilty with the assertion that she paid GH₵57,500.00 on April 27 2021 and she owes the National Communication Authority for just two years. She was however granted bail of GHS 500, 000.
In the latest report, Agradaa has been fined Ghc36,000 or 5 years in jail on the first count and Ghc10,000 or 1 year in jail on the second count. This comes after she pleaded guilty during the last hearing at Accra Circuit Court presided by Emmanuel Essandoh.
Some Ghanaians are excited about the judgement as they took to social media to praise authorities for enforcing the laws of the state.
