Gospel singer Sonnie Badu has received a hot ‘diss’ from OB Nartey of Vision FM for congratulating Kuami Eugene for winning the “Artiste of the Year” award at the 2020 VGMA.
Ever since Kuami Eugene won this award, there have been many controversies as some fans claim he never deserved the honor since Sarkodie, Kofi Kinaata, and others were also part of the nominees for the “Artist of the Year” category.
Sonnie Badu however congratulated his son Kuami Eugene for winning the award.
“Congratulations my son, @kuamieeugene remember the secret is humility, hard work, and prayer… much love… its purple.”
But he has come under fire from Gospel Show host, OB Nartey who claims the gospel musician is only a fan of winners and isn’t concerned about his sons in the gospel music industry.
“Good morning Sofo Badu, Go and look for your sons who are struggling in the Gospel industry and stop this unnecessary fame attachment. Noor Congratulations my son Kwame Eugene laughable. This “Don King” spirit won’t help you, the boys who served you are still waiting for you to give them the necessary push and features you promised them. The likes of Max Praise, Yohan, Tino Manford, Royal Chris, Kofi Perprah. You left the Gospel personalities who made us proud to go and claim fathership. What should Baba Sadiq call Kwame Eugene?” OB Nartey jabbed him on his Facebook handle.
