One of the celebrity LGBTQ+ advocates, Sister Derby, has slammed Lawmaker, Sam George over his stance on LGBTQ+ in Ghana.
There’s a new bill to criminalize homosexuality in Ghana and in the bill, culprits, advocates of homosexuality in Ghana could face 10 years in prison.
Sam George who has always been against homosexuality in Ghana hopped on Twitter and reacted to the new bill. He tweeted;
“I have been overwhelmed by the massive support even here on a very ‘liberal’ platform like Twitter for our Bill on the LGBTQI+ menace. Homosexuality is NOT a human right. It is a sexual preference. Preferences are not absolute or unregulated. We SHALL pass this Bill through”.
Pissed off Sister Derby reacted; “You are only doing this to score political points forgetting the harm you are causing queer folk. Tell us what else you will personally gain from passing this bill if not political points??? Shame on you!”
