NDC’s Sammy Gyamfi has reacted to Akuapem Poloo’s 90 days jail term for posting a n*de birthday photo with her son on Instagram.

Sammy Gyamfi says that Akuapem Poloo‘s sentence is too harsh and high-ended considering the fact that she is a first offender, pleaded guilty and showed remorse.

Sammy Gyamfi believes that she could have been handed a non-custodian sentence and called on President Akufo-Addo to remit her sentence or pardon her.

He tweeted;

“The sentence given to @IamAkuapemPoloo is very harsh and high-handed. Given the fact that she is a first offender, pleaded guilty and showed remorse, non-custodial sentence would have been appropriate. Sad! I pray @NAkufoAddo remits her sentence or pardons her. #FreeAkuapemPoloo“.
