President Akufo-Addo Will Be The First Ghanaian To Receive COVID-19 Vaccine

Ghana's Coronavirus Cases Jump From 7 to 9 And Counting

The first consignment of the free COVID-19 vaccines by the World Health Organization (WHO) has been received in Ghana today, February 24, 2021, at a short ceremony at the Kotoka International Airport.

Presidential advisor on health, Dr Anthony Nsiah Asare in an interview with TV3’s Grace Hammoah Asare disclosed that President Akufo-Addo will be the first Ghanaian to receive the vaccine.

“President Akufo-Addo will be the first to be vaccinated. This is to assure Ghanaians that the vaccine re safe and any other reactions like headache, dizziness, or pains are all usual with every vaccination”, Dr Anthony Nsiah Asare said.
