The 34-year-old singer/actor Rotimi took to Atlanta’s premiere of “Whitney Houston Biopic, I Wanna Dance With Somebody” to announce his pregnant wife Vanessa Mdee and also make known their upcoming wedding plans.
Rotimi said in an interview earlier this year that, he wants an understanding standing, amazing communication, a beautiful face, and a woman with a spiritual touch as a partner and it seems, he found that in Vanessa.
Rotimi and the mother of one Vannesa, who is also a singer and media personality started their relationship earlier this year and have declared their love to each other through numerous social media posts. And the famous actor seems to be excited about the pregnancy and choice of the woman.

Popular singer and Power actor Rotimi is getting married. And his new fiance is pregnant.
Rotimi made the public announcement yesterday, at the Atlanta premiere of the Whitney Houston biopic, I Wanna Dance w/ Somebody.
The actor made news earlier this year, when he told an interviewer that he planned to focus solely on his career until the right woman came along.
Well, it the right woman came along. Rotimi has been dating the stunningly gorgeous Tanzanian singer and radio personality Vanessa Mdee. Fans first noticed their budding romance after the two began liking and commenting on each other’s Instagram photos.
The lovebirds eventually made their relationship social media official, posting photos of one another on their pages.
And their relationship seemed to be destined, Media Take Out confirmed. During a recent radio interview in her home country, the singer revealed that it took her only two days to realize, “this is my husband.”
It is unknown how Rotimi and Mdee first met, but we do know the new lady in his life is quite accomplished. The entertainment began her career as a VJ, most prominently with MTV Base, and soon transitioned into music, signing to B’Hits Music Group in 2012.
Back in July, a then single Rotimi stopped by ESSENCE’s Yes, Girl podcast to discuss what qualifications the future Mrs. Butterscotch should have. “[I’m looking for] understanding and amazing communication, because that’s everything,” he said. “A beautiful face, nice smile, and [she should be] spiritual because I need to be grounded and this industry can be very demonic at times.”
However, while everyone is excited and congratulating the couple, Rotimi’s ex-partner, Kim Opara took to Instagram to warn Vanessa Mdee that, Rotimi used to feel the same way about her so she should not be too excited. C’mon Kim, shut up with your bitterness!
