The identity of the male Lebanese Trader who reportedly died of coronavirus in Ghana has finally been revealed a day after his death.
He has been identified as Tarek Minkara, a 61-year-old man who resided in Kumasi in the Ashanti Region.
Multiple reports say Tarek Minkara was a popular spare parts dealer in Kumasi.

His death was confirmed yesterday, March 21, 2020, by the Deputy Minister of Health, Alex Abban, during a phone-in interview on Citi FM.
Alex Abban during the interview confirmed that; “The information I got from the Director-General of the Ghana Health Service is that that person [the Lebanese man] has died. He died today”.

The family of Tarek Minkara have rubbished claims that he died of coronavirus. According to them, he was battling with illness for the past three months so viral reports that he died because of coronavirus are false and should be disregarded.
Tarek Minkara left behind a wife and a kid. May his soul rest in peace.
