Media mogul, Nathan Kwabena Anokye Adisi popularly known as Bola Ray and his EIB Network are currently facing financial meltdown and adding to his woes, his longtime Executive Secretary, Laillah-Crystal Banda, passed away on Valentine’s Day this year.
Just when Bola Ray was mourning his loyal Executive Secretary, Laillah-Crystal Banda, another heavy blow from his inner circles (GhOne TV) punched him hard in the face!
TheGhanaReport yesterday reported that Bola Ray’s GhOne TV went off-air which according to the report was orchestrated by the camera technicians to register their displeasure over unpaid salaries.
TheGhanaReport reported that “The camera technicians who showed up at work boycotted the station’s breakfast show and other programmes. It meant there was no broadcast.
Deep throat sources at GHOne TV, a subsidiary of the EIB Network say its Chief Executive, Kwabena Anokye Adisi, popularly known as Bola Ray, went into a meeting with the employees to resolve the matter.
The workers are protesting delay in payment of salary. Theghanareport.com understands some of the employees are owed up to six months salary arrears”.
Remember in 2019, Bola Ray confirmed that his company, EIB Network, was facing serious financial problems of which compelled some of his top employees such as Giovanni Caleb, Berla Mundi, AJ Sarpong to resign and move onto the brighter side, Media General and Citi TV respectively.
Unlike, Berla Mundi, Giovanni Caleb, AJ Sarpong and others who couldn’t put up smiling faces on screens because of hunger and hardships, Nana Aba Anamoah, Serwaa Amihere and others are still at GhOne TV putting up the usual smiles amidst reports of unpaid salaries.
Apparently, the love and joy of dressing up glamorously and appearing on television every morning and evening are what’s keeping Serwaa Amihere, her godmother, Nana Aba Anamoah and others at GhOne TV.
If the report that some employees are owed up 6 months salary arrears, then it’s likely that Nana Aba Anamoah, Serwaa Amihere and many others are volunteering at GhOne TV.
The question where is Nana Aba Anamoah heading to if she resigns from GhOne TV? UTV, Adom TV, Atinka TV? Where exactly? Apparently, Nana Aba has no available options than staying and putting up a smiling face in fitting outfits and heels.
We are hoping that Bola Ray and his EIB Network survive this financial crisis!
