LeBron James’ Sons, Bronny And Bryce Get Trolled For Wearing Michael Jordan Signature Sneakers On Their Dad’s Big Night

LeBron James' Kids, Bronny And Bryce Getj Trolled For Wearing Michael Jordan Signature Sneakers On Their Dad's Big Night

LeBron James‘ top scorer fest was a great moment for him, but the NBA superstar and his family did not make it all about themselves. They did well to acknowledge James’ predecessor, former NBA star Michael Jordan.

At the big night, LeBron’s sons, Bronny and Bryce James were seen wearing Michael Jordan’s signature sneakers instead of their dads’, and the internet is thrilled.

While the entire night was about Jame’s huge accomplishment, Jordan’s extraordinary records as a former NBA star could not be left out, and incredibly, the LeBron family was the first to acknowledge even as LeBron himself make history by breaking Kareem Abdul Jabber‘s 1984 record as NBA’s all-time best scorer.

The Chicago Bulls won six NBA championships from 1991 to 1998. The two three-peats that occurred during that eight-year span were disrupted for back-to-back seasons only because the team’s best player, Michael Jordan, momentarily retired from basketball to try his hand at a professional baseball career. Nevertheless, when MJ took the court, from 1991 to 1998, the Bulls never lost more than two straight games. There was also a 32-month period when Jordan won three championships, three NBA finals MVPs, three scoring titles, three All-NBA defensive team selections, and two regular-season MVPs–all while never missing a single game. Jordan’s greatest team, the 95-96 Bulls, finished the regular season with a recording-breaking 72-10 record en route to the franchise’s 4th NBA championship. These instances occurred long before the Cleveland Cavaliers drafted LeBron James in 2003.

The greatest NBA player of this generation is often compared to Michael Jordan because of his accolades and prowess on both ends of the court. His all-around game and overall stature have prompted several sports analysts, such as Colin Cowherd and Shannon Sharpe, to argue that he’s already surpassed MJ’s greatness, while others, such as Stephen A. Smith and Skip Bayless, maintain that Jordan will always be the GOAT because his record-setting career includes a 6-0 NBA finals record where he was the best player on the court during all six contests.

Last night, LeBron James etched his name in the NBA record books when he toppled the all-time scoring record once held by Los Angeles Lakers legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. Among the celebrities in attendance for the star-studded regular season game between LeBron’s squad and the Oklahoma City Thunder were Jay-Z, Dwyane Wade, Bad Bunny, and of course, the James Family (Gloria, Savannah, Bronny, Bryce, and Zhuri). A camera operator stationed courtside captured footage of Bronny and his younger brother, Bryce, donning an interesting fashion choice, considering the specificity of the monumental moment. The two high school basketball phenoms weren’t wearing their Dad’s signature sneakers…they were rockin’ Jordans. Although “His Airness” retired from the NBA about four years before Bronny was born, the James boys appear to appreciate the man who preceded their father as the best player in the world.

The impressionable image of the James boys in Jordan 4s immediately went viral.

Who is your GOAT? If it is MJ, let go of him and get used to the new GOAT, LB!
