Lebron James Is Being Dragged On Twitter After Lying That He’s Been Listening To Migos Since 2010

Lebron James Is Being Dragged On Twitter After Claiming He's Been Listening To Migos Since 2010

Okay, Lebron James did not rehearse his speech and now social media folks are blasting him. Netizens say Lebron doesn’t have to chase clout in every incident. After the Los Angeles Lakers disgracefully lost on November 6th, he did not leave right away but shared his thoughts on the match and further decided to pay a tribute to the late Takeoff.

When a reporter quizzed him on his take on the murder, Lebron James decided to boast about how long he has been listening to the Migos instead of the tragic incident that saw Takeoff’s demise. Well, Lebron showed up in a suit that seems similar to one Takeoff had worn before though, and committed another blunder by claiming he started listening to Migos when the world or his teammates has no idea who the hip-hop trio was.

He used that opportunity to tell them about the brothers, Offset, Quavo and Takeoff so he is a big fan of the brothers hence Takeoff’s murder is a great loss to him as well.

Well, social media did not make him finish his speech before they pointed right through his lies. The question they are asking is, how did Lebron start listening to Migos in 2010 when their debut was in 2011? Well, before you say it was a slip, Lebron was very confident during his delivery and hasn’t come out to clarify his comment. So, it was a straight-out lie.

LeBron James paid tribute to Takeoff on Sunday (November 6) afternoon after the Los Angeles Lakers lost to the Cleveland Cavaliers, 114-100, in Los Angeles. He wore a suit and tie ensemble with a Jesus piece that looked identical to an outfit the late Migos rapper wore in the past.

When reporters asked for LeBron’s thoughts on Takeoff’s recent passing, he stated that he’d been listening to Migos since his first year with the Heat in 2010. He stated, “I was listening to those guys my first year with the Heat in 2010. You can ask any one of my teammates back then, they had no idea who the Migos was… I was like ‘I’m telling you these guys are next.'”

However, social media users pointed out that Migos didn’t drop their first mixtape until 2011. LeBron started trending on social media for his comments, with many people claiming that he was lying about being an early supporter of Migos. LeBron has yet to respond to the backlash.

If you are familiar with social media, you know, lies are not tolerated, especially when it is coming from a famous person. It is for clout mostly so netizens don’t tolerate it.

So we are waiting for Lebron’s teammates to actually confirm that he introduced them to Migos. Until then. Lebron is not to be trusted.
