With Megan Thee Stallion‘s trial likely to face a mistrial, the prosecution is wild and has sent out LAPD to search for Megan’s bodyguard who went missing on the day of his testimony in the ongoing trial.
Lead attorney Alex Spiro believes Justin Edison must be threatened by the defense team hence his absence in court on 16th December despite his promise to testify as scheduled.
Megan’s former bodyguard was to testify in court on December 16 against Tory on hearing him admit to shooting Megan. But he went missing on the scheduled date and has not been heard from since then.
Yesterday, it was reported that Justin was serving as a guard to a VIP FIFA member in Qatar and will be returning to the U.S. on Thursday.
TJB reports;
Megan Thee Stallion’s former bodyguard reportedly remains missing and police have now been sent on a hunt to locate his whereabouts.
According to reports, after Megan Thee Stallion’s bodyguard, Justin Edison, did not appear to his scheduled testimony as part of Tory Lanez’ trial, the L.A. County D.A.’s Office sent cops out to find him.
As previously reported, Megan Thee Stallion’s bodyguard Justin Edison went “missing” ahead of his scheduled court appearance to testify on December 16 in the Tory Lanez trial for allegedly shooting the Houston rapper, but he never showed up.
Recent reports state that investigators stopped by an L.A. home on Monday morning (December 19) in hopes of finding Justin. The investigators’ goal was to acquire information on when Justin would be available to testify since he was supposed to last week. However, they reportedly did not locate him, and still have no clue on his disappearance.
Reportedly, Megan’s team, including her lawyer Alex Spiro, last heard from Justin on Thursday night (December 15) with expectations he would be in court Friday for testimony as a key witness in Tory Lanez’ trial. Alex Spiro believes there’s witness intimidation going on in the high-profile trial, and he claims prosecutors have launched an investigation into that.
Justin is reportedly still not considered a “missing” person and the LAPD does not currently have a missing person’s case for him.
As you may already know, the long-awaited shooting trial between Megan, 27, and fellow musician Tory began last week. Lanez, 30, is facing three felony charges for a 2020 shooting that resulted in serious injuries to Megan’s foot. Of the charges, include assault with a firearm and discharging a firearm with gross negligence. Most witnesses, including Megan, Tory, and the “Savage” artist’s ex-bff Kelsey Harris have already taken the stand. Justin was scheduled to have been next up.
However, it is clear Justin does not want to be part of the ongoing case in any form because Megan has gained numerous black men’s hate over the days and Justin does not want to be part of it.
