King Promise & Joey B Have Bowed Out Of VGMA 2020 Over Fears Of Winning Nothing

Joey B And King Promise Bow Out Of VGMA 2020 Over Fears Of Winning Nothing

Over a possible reason that they may win nothing at the 2020 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, Joey B and King Promise have indirectly bowed out.

It’s obvious that the fear of winning nothing and getting trolled heavily on social media led to some discouraging comments from King Promise and Joey B about the 2020 VGMA.

Apparently, King Promise and Joey B are sick and tired of being nominated and failing to win in the end─all because of lack of massive votes from their fans.

Disappointed Joey B has advised his fans to use their airtime to call their loved ones and not to waste it on voting for him to win an award at the 2020 VGMA.

A fan of Joey B who is obviously geared up towards investing in voting to ensure that he wins an award tweeted; “@1RealJoey B THIS VGMA I SWEAR I GO VOTE FOR U LIKE 1000 TIMES …JOEY B U ARE FOREVER MY BOSS I PRAY U LIVE LONGER FOR ME TO SEE U SAAA I LOVE U DADDY”.

Joey B replied; “use your credit to call your loved ones. 2020 is scary”. King Promise, on the other hand, says he is not doing music because of awards and that his focus isn’t on the 2020 VGMA.

King Promise in an interview with Sammy Kay Media says that “he is expecting nothing from VGMA because his focus is to make the fans happy, therefore seeing the fans happy and excited about his craft is more rewarding than any award could offer”.

This comes after he was nominated in the category “Songwriter of the Year” at the 21st edition of Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.

Joey B and King Promise claim they aren’t interested in VGMA and yet they went through stress to submit their works to the Board?

If their works weren’t automatically selected by the VGMA Board but were submitted by themselves, then King Promise and Joey B are mad musicians who have no idea what they want to achieve with music.
