Ghana's Coronavirus Cases Climbs To 204

According to the Ministry of Information, Ghana has recorded 9 new coronavirus cases added to the 195 existing cases which sums up to 204 cases in total.

From the data on the Ghana Health Service website dedicated to updating COVID-19 cases in Ghana, “4 out of the 9 have no travel history nor contact with a confirmed coronavirus patient and the other 4 have no travel history but have had contact with a confirmed coronavirus patient.

The last confirmed case travelled to Ghana from Benin within the 14 days.

The number of regions reporting cases remains five (5) (Greater Accra, Ashanti, Northern, Upper West, and Eastern). The Greater Accra Region has most of the cases (183) followed by the Northern Region (10), Ashanti Region (9), Upper West Region (1) and Eastern Region (1)”.

As it stands, Ghana has recorded 5 coronavirus deaths and 31 recoveries.
