March 31, 2020, was International Transgender Day of Visibility, a day set aside to celebrate transgender people and create “awareness of discrimination faced by transgender people worldwide, as well as a celebration of their contributions to society”.
Some Ghanaian transgender girls (boys who now identify as girls) stormed Twitter with throwback and current hot photos of themselves to celebrate their day.

Three of the popular transgender girls in Ghana who celebrated the International Trans Day of Visibility are Martin now Ohemartin, Caleb now Calerky and Jerry now Jerrynova.
According to Famebugs, Ohemartin, Calerky and Jerrynova are close friends who met during their High School days in Mfantsipim popularly known as Botwe.

Amid the backlashes and discrimination against these transgender people, they chose to celebrate their day without fear of being lynched and hated on.
