The citizens have had a fair share of deadly Coronavirus and now, it’s going after government officials probably for failing to put necessary measures in place to contain it.
The former General Secretary of the NPP, Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie aka Sir John died last night and now, Mac Manu and Carlos Ahenkora have reportedly been admitted to ICU (Intensive Care Unit) after testing positive for Coronavirus.
CitiNewsRoom is reporting that the NPP’s campaign manager for the 2020 general elections, Peter Mac Manu and Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry, Carlos Ahenkorah have been admitted at the Intensive Care Unit of the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital after testing positive for COVID-19.
It’s not only the above-mentioned names but a couple of government officials have also tested positive for the deadly virus and are now receiving treatment.
MyNewsGh is also reporting that “Ghana’s Former Ambassador to Zimbabwe, Mr. Sylvanus Tetteh Tamaklo has tested positive for the novel coronavirus”.
From the report, he is receiving treatment at a health facility in Accra. We wish them well in their battle against coronavirus.
