BET Sunday Best show winner/Grammy-winning singer Le’Andria Delores Johnson is 40 years old and she didn’t let the day pass without holding a lavish party to commemorate her achievements over the years.
Le’Andria organized a splash party that saw her kids, her husband, Forrest Walker, family, and celebrity friends attending. The party was joyous with a lot of singing and dancing and some gorgeous fashion displays by the ‘Jesus’ singer.
The controversial singer has been out of the limelight for some time now after her confession on her alcohol intake, s-xual sins, and giving birth out of wedlock which got her disrespected by churches and forced her to fight back, leading to several controversies that put her in the headlines over the years.

Grammy award winning gospel singer Le’Andria Johnson turned 40 years old this weekend, and Media Take Out was there to help the gorgeous singer celebrate her momentous birthday.
In addition to friends and associates, Le’Andria’s family (including her husband Forrest) helped her celebrate the day. And Le’Andria was stunning … she had three outfit changes during the evening.
Le’Andria is an American gospel singer. She was the season three winner of the BET gospel singing competition show Sunday Best.
Johnson’s Sunday Best coronation song, “I Shall Leap into My Destiny”, co-written by Johnson, entered the Billboard Gospel chart at number 1. Johnson’s post-Sunday Best recording The Awakening of Le’Andria Johnson was released in August 2011, Music World Entertainment Gospel and Music World Music. The album debuted at number 1 on the U.S. Billboard Gospel Albums, number 3 on the U.S. Billboard Independent Albums, and number 24 on the Billboard 200.
Johnsons’ second major-label album The Awakening of Le’Andria Johnson, which included seven new songs, was released in February 2012. Johnson is the first Sunday Best contestant to receive a Grammy Award, which she won in 2012 for Best Gospel/Contemporary Christian Music Performance.
