Ricky Smiley received the dreadful news every parent prays against on Sunday, and it is devastating. According to the comedian, his 32-year-old son Brandon Smiley also a comedian passed away.
Ricky shared the heart-wrenching news on his Instagram and added that his grandparent experienced the same with his father, and now, he is suffering the same fate.
Although Ricky is clearly heartbroken, he is acting strong. The radio host assured his followers that he is fine but pleaded with them to say a prayer for Brandon’s mother and his siblings.
Ricky is yet to make public what caused the early demise of his first child.

Brandon, the son of comedian Rickey Smiley, has died at the age of 32, Media Take Out has confirmed.
Rickey Smiley revealed on Sunday that his eldest child, Brandon, died – but he didn’t specify the exact cause of death.
“I lost my eldest son #BrandonSmiley this morning,” the comedian wrote Video on Instagram taken at the airport over the weekend.
“I’m fine but please pray for my son’s mother Brenda, his siblings and daughter Storm,” continued the 54-year-old actor.
In the video, Rickey told fans that he was “on his way to … Birmingham” to mourn his son.
The Ricky Smiley Morning Show host, refused to reveal any details about Brandon’s passing, but he noted that he now understands what his grandfather went through after losing his child.
The comedian then asked his Instagram followers to pray.
“Now I understand… why he felt the way he did,” Rickey explained. “My grandpa went through this sh** with my dad and somehow here I am going through the same thing my grandparents went through. So just pray for our family.”
The announcement of the reality TV star came two years after his daughter, Aaryn, was shot multiple times in a road rage incident waiting at a red light on the way to Whataburger.
“Today could have been different,” star of “Ricky Smiley For Real.” he told his YouTube subscribers after the July 2020 shooting, “I’m lucky [my daughter] is still alive.”
