Okay, Chris Brown has hopped into Robert Glasper’s Instagram DM to apologize after facing backlashes from several fans. And one thing I’m excited about is Glasper never responded to his lame apology.
Chris Brown mocked Glasper after he was declared the winner of the Best R&B Album category at the 2023 Grammys. As expected, black Twitter and music lovers around the globe did not condone his BS but called him out. Well, the R&B singer felt the hit and hopped into Glasper’s DM and apologized.
However, he explained that he was trying to attack the Grammys and took his anger on him unjustly. Chris also mentioned in his apology letter that he does not appreciate the fact that they have to be in the same category because they do two separate genres of music.
Via Media Take Out;
Chris Brown issued an apology to Robert Glasper after his disrespectful rant on Sunday. Breezy lost Best R&B Album to Robert Glasper at the 2023 Grammy Awards and posted a series of not so nice messages, questioning who Robert Glasper was.
After facing backlash, Breezy posted an apology.
“Congratulations my brother. I would like to apologize if you took offense to my reaction at the Grammys. You were not the intended target and I know I came off really rude and mean. After doing my research I actually think [you’re] amazing. The organization isn’t doing us Blacks our due diligence. You and I should never be in the same category. Two totally different vibes and genres. So from one Black man to another congratulations. Hope you are able to feed your family for life. God bless my G,” he wrote.
When Glasper was announced as the winner, Breezy wrote: “BRO WHO THE F*** IS THIS? YALL PLAYING WHO DA F*** IS THIS?”
He continued: “WHO THE -UCK IS ROBERT GLASPER…IMA KEEP KICKING YALL ASS! RESPECTFULLY.”
Chris knew Glasper does a different genre of music entirely from him, but he was mute after the nominations only for him to attack Glasper right when he was announced as the winner and spoil the moment. F*** you dude, just shut up!
