21-Year-Old Basketball Player Darius Miles Seen Weeping After He Was Arrested For The Murder Of Jamea Jonae Harris

Authorities have provided more details about the murder of 23-year-old Jamea Jonae Harris who was shot dead in her car a few days ago. According to the reports obtained, sacked basketball player of Alabama University Darius Miles handed the gun to the supposed killer Michael Lynn Davis before he carried out the heinous crime.

So Darius may not be the killer, but he aided in the death of that young lady anyway. Witnesses confirmed that the three individuals were involved in a minor dispute before Jamea was tragically shot and killed by Michael Davis. Both Michael and Darius are currently being charged with capital murder and are in custody without bond.

Documents filed by police were made public on Tuesday and claimed that Miles admitted to giving gunman Michael Davis a handgun ahead of the shooting. The police said that Davis shot at the 23-year-old victim while she was sitting in the passenger seat of a car stopped on the campus. The University of Alabama men’s basketball player Darius Miles, 21, was arrested along with Michael Lynn Davis, 20, on Sunday (January 15) following a shooting the same morning on the Strip, a hub of businesses and restaurants near the campus on University Boulevard.

Police responded to the shooting around 1:45 am on Sunday, where they found 23-year-old Jamea Jonae Harris had been fatally shot while sitting in a car. The driver of the car told police that someone shot into his vehicle, and he returned fire.

The Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit revealed in a statement, “After processing the scenes, speaking with multiple witnesses, and viewing video surveillance, two suspects were developed. It appears that the only motive to this was a minor altercation that these individuals had with the victim as they were out on The Strip.”

Miles was playing his third season as a forward for the Alabama Crimson Tide, who revealed, “We were made aware of the recent charge against student-athlete Darius Miles, and he is no longer a member of the Alabama men’s basketball team.”

Footage of Miles’ arrest made its way online, showing Miles crying and speaking to someone off-camera while being led into a police car. Both Miles and Davis are charged with capital murder and are being held without bond.

With Darius and Michael’s alleged direct involvement in the killing, they may serve life in prison if found guilty. And I don’t feel sorry for these lads. Stop using guns when guns are not needed! I’m tired of crying and writing Rest In Peace because of y’all silly a—ses.
