Akwaboah Says Winning Awards Doesn't Validate Him

Ghanaian highlife singer, Akwaboah says that winning an award isn’t his ultimate priority as this doesn’t validate him.

According to the hitmaker, he is not the type who keeps chasing or fighting over awards as others do. If it is given to him, he would accept but if it is not he is still who he is.

His main focus is to serve his fans with hit songs which they would enjoy from him. And so he is not tickled a bit if he does not get nominated or win awards. He said this in an interview on HappyFM.

“When I organize shows, you know the number of people who come so I can’t be defined by the fact that an award show has been organized and I didn’t win any award. The organizers sat down and decided how they want their event to go so I’m not bothered”. Akwaboah said
