A big round of applause to the organizers of the 4th 3Music Awards for putting up a great awards show and raising the bar higher into the air. VGMA organizers are probably in a 72-hour board meeting finding ways and means to also raise the bar and be the standard.
The 3Music Awards came off last night and the big surprise on the night was Empress Gifty beating Sarkodie, Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy and others to winning the “Digital Act of the Year” award. That was one of their few flaws and they should get serious next time.

KiDi on the night was crowned the “Artiste of the Year” and I think he deserves it. The Lynx Entertainment folks are currently reigning in the Ghanaian entertainment industry.
