Dancehall artiste, Charles Nii Armah Mensah Junior popularly known as Shatta Wale has opened up once again on the confusion that erupted at the 2019 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs) a few months ago.
On the night of the 2019 VGMAs, Stonebwoy was announced for the 5th time as the winner for the category “Reggae/Dancehall Artiste of the Year” and when he climbed on the stage for his award plaque and give his acceptance speech, Shatta Wale and his SM gang also moved up there.

Many Ghanaians after watching the video concluded that Shatta Wale deliberately went up there just to cause confusion for not winning the award.
But according to Shatta Wale in an interview with Paul Adom Otchere on Metro TV’s “Good Evening Ghana” disclosed that he wasn’t going up there to congratulate Stonebwoy.
Shatta Wale revealed that he was just going to urinate and before he realised, there was chaos on the stage with his SM members fighting with Stonebwoy’s then Manager and crew.
He also broke a piece of good news during the interview, well, he has actually shot his scene for the official music video for his song with Beyoncé titled “Already” when he visited the United States a few weeks ago.
